Welcome to the Four Corners Gem & Mineral Club Established in 1947, the Club is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to the earth sciences, local geology and mining history, rock-hounding, and lapidary and jewelry arts. It offers the only fully equipped open studio for lapidary and jeweler arts in this region with frequent classes, field trips, programs and more. Classes are taught by experienced, talented instructors in our well equipped workshop. Sign up for field trip announcements See Schedules Members gain access to a well-equipped lapidary studio with everything you need to cut rough stone, shape slabs, and grind and polish stones into attractive cabochons. The club also houses jewelers’ benches to cut, shape, and finish metal, casting equipment, kilns for enamel and precious metal clay, and fully equipped solder stations. Helpful shop stewards are available during Open Shop hours too.
