Welcome to the homepage of the Moraine Rockbusters. We are a non-profit mineral, fossil, and lapidary club located in Mars, PA, just north of Pittsburgh, PA.
We welcome visitors and new members of all ages and all experience levels. Come join with us in exploring the facinating world of rocks, minerals, fossils, and gems.
The Moraine Rockbusters, Inc. is dedicated to promoting interest and education in the earth sciences, and to cooperate with educational and scientific institutions or other groups engaged in increasing the knowledge and popular interest in geology, mineralogy, the lapidary arts, and related subjects.
Membership is open to all children and adults. Yearly dues are $15.00 for an individual and $1.00 for each child under 16, with an adult membership. Visitors to our meetings are welcome, but expected to join after 3 visits.
Some of the benefits of joining are: it is informative and educational, access to experienced members with extensive knowledge that are willing to answer questions and help you, safety tips to protect yourself and others, a monthly newsletter, field trips, club auctions, etc.

Meetings are usually on the second Saturday of every month at 7:30P.M. at the United Presbyterian Church in Mars, PA. Entrance and parking are at the rear of the Church on Garfield Ave. We meet in the board room on the first floor of the Church. (Directions are on the About Us page). Any changes to the normal start time of 7:30 pm will be noted below with the meeting subject / topic.
Please note that even though presenters and/or topics may vary from the schedule shown below, all meetings are informative and fun!
